"Thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay here, it was the perfect spot for some rest and recuperation following watching some of the Euros. Axel was very helpful and informative, ensuring our stay would be perfect and without any hiccups. With Aldi just a short walk around the corner we could pop out to get groceries easily to cook on the boat. The rooms were good sized given the size of the boat, the bathroom was clean and the shower was good. Would highly recommend if staying in the area."

"Located about 4-5 kilometers from the train station and it is very walkable and easy to find. The owners/staff are incredibly attentive and caring. The room is very clean, comfortable and quiet. Don’t skip out on the breakfast. It’s fresh and delicious, filled with bread, meats and cheeses. "

"I have been in this hotel many times. I always go back there because it suits me and my needs perfectly. I will always go back to this hotel if I am in Duisburg for business. The staff knows me very well and they are calling me a long distant family member. I love the special Zum burger and their pizzas are absolutely fabulous."

"The hotel and reception was great. But this is the second time i have booked a hotel thru you that say there is a shuttle service to the airport and there was none. They offered to book me a cab. The cab cost me more then the hotel room. Totally bot hapoy about this"

"The property was very interesting, however when I had trouble getting my key out of the lockbox the staff and customer service was amazing. I called, they not only answered to help me but also sent a text immediately for instructions if I forgot anything. My space was clean and very well maintained/organized. Maybe they struggled in their past but as far as I’m concerned they proved otherwise for me. A magnificent and very inexpensive place to stay for holiday. "

"Myself and two mates stayed in the ground floor flat at Schacht85 for four nights. Entry into the property is via a keypad and then there is another keypad on the door, which was ideal for us as we were often coming and going at different times. The door into the flat opens straight into the living room where one of the beds (a sofa converted into a double bed, bit stiff) is based.
