"Great hotel in a central location. Staff and hospitality was excellent. Room was clean and the bed nice and comfortable. Would definitely recommend. "
"Best part of the hotel is the food. Kebab options were tasty. Breakfast bar good. Room and bath showed signs of wear and were somewhat dark Friendly helpful service. "
"The so-called breakfast in this hotel is nothing to write home about. This is the area that needs all the improvement in the world. Service is also very slow, and none of the waiters can explain the menu in English. The beds are comfy, though, and the local area quiet. "
"I enjoyed my stay in this hotel close to the city center also the welcome and friendliness of the manager and the staff.
The rooms are clean and spacious with a small balcony ,, the bedding is comfortable, the breakfast is plentiful, as well as the dinner I took several times ..
There is a good internet connection.
The manager of the hotel is very friendly he is listening to his clients.
Everything was perfect !"

Ethiopian Skylight Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Nice hotel of proximity caring staff. Good experience"
"Cockroaches and other bugs in the room and the bathroom/toilet. No pest or insect control. It was warm and sometimes hot. No portable fans available as there is no air conditioning in the hotel. Staff is ok but do not speak much English. A lot of maintenance is required as many things are missing from rooms such as hair dryer etc. "
"When I arrived at the hotel, they had no record of my booking. When I informed them that I had booked on hotels.com, they said that's not possible since they had stopped doing all online bookings a year earlier. I was so tired, confused, and unable to get hold of hotels.com. Afterall, my room was paid and confirmed. I asked them if I could just pay out of pocket for the night, just so I could sleep and then sort out the issue with hotels.com the next day. I got a room with no space, leaking toilet, smell of mildew, one towel, and one working electrical outlet. Next day I contacted hotels.com and informed them of the issue. They said that the hotel was incorrect for saying that they do not do online bookings. They were trying to prove to me that the hotel confirmed my booking, but for me, that was for them to sort out between themselves. I needed to leave the hotel. Hotels.com gave me a refund in form of a credit that I used to book a different hotel. This experience was terrible. Apparently, Hotels.com do not know who they're doing business with. I later complained to their corporate office, and they gave me a credit of $150 that I can use toward future bookings, apologizing that I did not like the room that I was given, but failing to address the part where they're listing a hotel that's no longer doing online bookings."
"Very nice view over the city and is one of the best places to sit and watch the lights of Addis. The room was functional and the water in the shower was hot which is a very welcome thing. The room was a little noisy as the balcony door was not sound proof so the stray dogs barked all night and there was no way to reduce the sound. The room was clean and had lots of space. There is an amazing Spa in the building which is well-recommended."
"This hotel was everything we needed with a welcome level of good quality. The food in the restaurant was excellent, and I had numerous meetings with people here and in the coffee shop. The room was also great, except several items were not working in the room. In spite of that, we got very good value and will definitely come back here again. The staff offer excellent service."
