"This hotel is right off Shinjuku Station and Kabukicho, providing incredible comfort and convenience. The hotel staff is incredibly professional and very helpful, and the hotel is very nice. The hotel is a 5 min walk from Shinjuku Station (the west entrance is a little further) and hardly a minute's walk to Kabukicho. Our hotel room faced Hotel Gracery and the Godzilla head and we could see all the bustle on the street. This is an excellent hotel to stay at to be near the action without being completely trapped in the chaos. While I can't completely comment on the experiences of someone staying at Hotel Gracery, I can't help but think I would personally be overwhelmed and exhausted if everytime I had to leave or go to the hotel I would need to pass through the heart of Kabukicho. Shinjuku Prince never had this problem while being even more accessible than Hotel Gracery. Another highlight of our stay was the breakfast... wow. The breakfast here was the best we had throughout our entire trip, it's been two weeks since our trip and we still keep thinking about the bread pudding! The breakfast doesn't seem to get too busy either, but I would suggest still going early so you can experience having the entire space for yourself without too much commotion. This is an amazing hotel I would recommend to everyone and I would definitely stay here again."

"Booked this as a really last minute stay and was pleasantly surprised. Location was a reasonable walk from Ikebukuro JR Rail Station; about a 5 minute walk. There's a 7/11 on the first floor, and a Denny's restaurant on the second floor. Both are reasonable breakfast/food options in terms of quality and price. The laundry service was a lifesaver, although there is a minor charge for detergent and machine use. During our stay it was 100yen for the detergent, 200yen for the washer, and 100yen for every 30 minutes in the dryer. For us 30 minutes was not enough to thoroughly dry so we would suggest putting 60minute for the dryer. Coffee, tea (cold and hot) and microwave are also available 24/7. Be careful of the paper cups as the hot beverage option is VERY hot. Also, keep in mind that their check-in is not 24/7. When we visited, check-in closed at 11pm so plan around what time you will be arriving in Ikebukuro. "

"Great luxury hotel with lots of dining options nearby. Staff is very friendly and welcomig. There is laundry service in the building, which is very cheap to do it yourself. I stayed for one week and thoroughly enjoyed my time. The breakfast in the morning was great. There were a few options for buffet. The first room I stayed in was a king size bed in the south tower on the 21st floor and it was quiet and great. However, when I needed to stay one extra night I opted for a cheaper room, which ended up being a twin double bedroom in the North tower on the 17th floor, and the walls were paper thin and I could hear lots of neighborly sounds. Other than that it’s a great hotel. "
