"If I could give Dromoland Castle 10 stars I would!! Absolutely gorgeous. The service we received was incredible, the rooms were spacious, gorgeous and very comfortable, the grounds were beautiful and the food was delicious."

"Great staff at the reception and a very nice hotel in general. It was very clean. I was given a room for people in wheelchairs for some reason so the bathroom was a bit strange to use as a person who’s not in a wheelchair but it was ok as I was there for only 2 nights. The restaurant is nice as well. Food was ok. They gave me 14€ discount for the restaurant when I checked in which was a nice surprise. The waiter didn’t know English well, but it was possible to communicate with him. "

"Fantastic location right in the centre of town, but tucked away from the main street with beautiful view across the cascades. Hot tub and pool area was very clean and well run, room was generously sized and breakfast was really great with a fantastic selection of fresh and tasty food. Great hotel, highly recommended. "

"One night only but was out for most of the evening. Dined in the restaurant where service was prompt up to main course as we arrived after 9pm and ‘the kitchen was closing’. After main course was served, restaurant staff disappeared and the only staff were those using the restaurant as a thoroughfare on their way home off shift (presumably banqueting staff) who didn’t look left or right in case someone asked them something…. "Rooms are clean, spacious and beds incredibly comfy. All the staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Both breakfast & dinner were delicious, though the menu did feel a little limited, especially for vegetarian options. Pool/Sauna facilities were clean & well maintained, only negative being that there seems to be no time limit in place. Groups sitting in the hot tub for over an hour meaning no one else could use it. Lovely stay at the Limerick Strand

"Lovely stay at the Limerick Strand. The room was huge! The bed was very comfortable. It would be ideal for working from, as there is a large desk. There is is a desk infront of a mirror for doing makeup, too - does not always happen in hotels! Huge selection at the breakfast buffet - only one small change there - better sausages :) Added bonus - the pool, sauna and jacuzzi! Would definitley stay there again if in Limerick!"

Wonderful stay

"My family had a wonderful stay. Our room was very clean and spacious, breakfast was lovely. Staff extremely friendly. Only thing I would say is the showers in female changing rooms in the swimming pool should have shower gel in the containers in the cubicles "
