Everything in downtown Shanghai is within easy walking distance. If you want to go further the Metro stop at Dashijie is 4-5 minutes walk along the road. There's a lot of renovation/building work going on around the hotel but there is minimal disruption.

The low rating of service is due to the deposit policy. The policy requires you to deposit 200rmb and then the staff gives you a note, and threatens to not return the deposit if you do not have the note when checking out (even if you return the key card and leave the room in good conditions).

My stay here is amazing! The staffs are very nice. The place recently renovated. The rooms are clean. Well done to the housekeepers for keeping the 12th floor rooms clean! Location wise is perfect. Will stay again.
