"The room was good wi-fi excellent air conditioning excellent room cleaning excellent unfortunately the area is not good for walking the footpaths are full of electric scooters bip bip all the time just push there way through you cannot go for a peaceful walk in this area plenty of good family restaurants good food good price pity about this area so busy with scooters and trolleys full of bundles of clothes being delivered every where all day everyday day if I go back to Gaungzhou I will not stay...

"When I arrived to hotel I was informed there is no room for me, even I payed in advance. Service was terrible, they put me in another awful hotel. Imagine when you come to China and you want to rest, no no it was terrible, never take this hotel, sorry but I will never reccomend anybody HOTELS.com service, will never book again by hotel.com "

"It is 1930s historical magistic building. It keeps its magnificant period look and inside fitted with adequte modern furnishing, air conditioning and clean bedding and room. For $60 a night, that is a steal. I was originally expecting $120-to 14o a night. Good value. Highly recommended."

"The hotel is one of the best in the area but it is getting tired.. there are some cultural corks to keep in mind.. like don’t forget to bring swim cap if you want to use the pool, service barely speaks English, room service takes 50 minutes (even if you are VIP guest), there is giant bathtub in my room, but there is no bath salt ( u have to buy that … lol), and list goes on.. in overall I would stay here again..because luck of choices in the area"
