"The stay was absolutely amazing, very attentive staff and beautiful views from the restaurant/ swimming pool. However if you book a ‘city view’ room and you’re on the first floor, prepare to be woken up every morning at 06:30 by the towel/sheet delivery out the front of the hotel. Full disclosure, we complained and were offered to swap rooms if we moved everything by 12pm, but we had one night left and had booked a trip out so didn’t have time to move everything. "

"Great location, reception staff super friendly and helpful, couldn’t fault them. Rooms are pretty small, air conditioning unit was poor, didn’t really have an impact and was cooler to sleep with the balcony door open! Rooms were not hugely soundproof. Housekeeping was a bit poor. Had to keep going down to reception for things the housekeeping didn’t top up e.g. milk, shower gel, even toilet paper!"

"We enjoyed a fantastic couple of nights at Hotel L’Eautel Toulon Port. We loved the overall nautical theme of the hotel and found all the staff to be helpful and courteous. Our large family room was spacious, clean and quiet, the beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels in the bathroom. Our teenage children really enjoyed the rooftop pool which was fun! We has breakfast in the hotel which was absolutely delicious - there was everything you could ask for all so fresh and plentiful....

"I'm eating this five stars, but I do have some specific caveats that won't mean much to many people. The hotel is excellent. It's located between the train station and road where many buses stop, and much of the city of Toulon is walkable from here. My main caveat was about the WiFi. It's fast but restricted in some very specific ways, and a little unreliable in poor weather too. For most people this'll be fine, it's good enough to mitigate the dent in your roaming data. "What we did not like: Bathroom has nowhere to hang wet towels and bathrobes, we can see the hooks behind the door were removed; the toilet needs a good scrub, colored stains can be seen near the bottom of the bowl - probably water stain? What we liked - the room is very spacious, the bed linens are clean and very comfortable, we also liked the soft pillows. We were able to rest very well. And we also appreciate the very gracious and friendly staff."

"Very nice stay. Since the property didnt hv lift and the staff saw us with heavy luggages ,they kindly upgraded us to the Trefle room on the ground floor. The room is very spacious and cozy. Will be staying again next when we are around the area"

"The hotel advertisement is not clear in that these are a mixture of building and chalets. You will need multiple lifts to get to the restaurant and swimming area. This can be long if your chalet is fair away. The room was not clean, no soap was provided, bed sheets were dirty, the floor had not been cleaned, no internet in any of the rooms, no complimentary drinks. "We almost rated them 5 stars but unfortunately, on our last day. There were 2 female staff were very rude. One of them just had a go at my husband instead of talking nicely but she talked to us aggressively. The other female staff upon our check out we were confused with payment and deposit. With her broken English and our broken French, instead of trying to be patient with us she rolled her eyes and said something in French and stormed off. When she returned again you can tell from the look in her face that was not at all happy with us for being simply confused! We weren't even rude to her! She just made us never want to return ever again! The staff on our first two nights were so lovely though."
