The Hotel Alfonso XIII is an iconic hotel for many reasons. From the moment you drive through the gates you are treated like royalty. The valet service is first rate. The lobby is very special. The check-in team is very professional and very knowledgeable. The room was incredible. The restaurants and bars are amazing. The hotel is perfectly located. Everything is within walking distance. However it is the hotel team that makes your stay unforgettable. Just incredible. We look forward to returning. Muchas gracias!!

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, and I have stayed at the best! Would highly recommend, great staff, great location and the hotel itself has one of the nicest courtyards in the world, yes I said the world. Check in and being shown to our room wasn’t to the standard of a 5 star hotel unfortunately. The check in girl dealing with us looked concerned the whole time and went away to check things making us feel there was an issue with the booking. The girl showing us to the room forgot to show us where the pool was. Beautiful hotel in centre of the city, no comfortable day bar if you don’t want to sit at the pool either. The greeting note with chocolates in the room was addressed to someone else. To me the small details were overlooked for a hotel of this calibre. The 5:30pm daily tour of the hotel didn’t happen, even we waited in reception we were ignored.
