"We had the junior suite which is certainly large enough for 3 adults with a king bed and sofa bed. There is a walk in shower and a large bathtub. Included were passes to Aqua World that was a lot of fun. "

"Right next to train station so very easy to get there after a 13 hour train journey. Very comfortable room, lovely breakfast next day and exceptionally helpful staff. "

"Almost all was good. Only negatives are: phone base in room is flimsy. Needs to be fixed to the table. Lighting at toilet mirror very poor. Can hardly see face when shaving. Needs shaving mirror. Sauna is excellent but requiring bathing suits is not hygienic. This should be nude or optional"

"Wonderful friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable rooms with everything we needed from coffee to water to mini bar. Room was also lovely and warm. Could do with a mirror (not in bathroom area ) so that someone can put on makeup while someone else is in bathroom. Location is great, lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Can walk to all central locations. We would definitely stay here again "

"Alice Hotel is an old mansion. Its location is phenomenal and its spotless, bright cheerful. The main desk is always staffed and wanting English speaker is no problem. Tje breakfast is buffet style with a wide tange of choices suitable for all. Also a pleadant snmall restaursnt downstairs. "

"Everything you need supplied in the apartment. Quiet and relaxed. Free coffee from machine in reception a bonus. We didn't have breakfast but it did look delicious. Staff were pleasant and very helpful. Our first time in Budapest and what a lovely stay. We would definitely stay here again."

"This was the perfect stay in Budapest! The bed is extremely comfortable, the place is newly renovated and the location is fantastic. Communication & check in instructions were super easy as the host is readily available via WhatsApp. The room is a bit on the smaller side, but the high ceilings & windows give it a more open feel. I will be recommending this place to friends and will definitely be back! "

Good overnight stay prior to cruise

"This was a mid-priced hotel. The staff was extremely kind. The rooms are quite small, as is the bathroom. The bath was mostly clean, but this is clearly an older property. It uses a one-pipe system for HVAC, so there is either heat or air. We were there in October, so it was nice outside, but once we had to close the window for sleep, the room again became warm and stuffy. Breakfast in the morning was more than suitable….several hot items as well as pastries and breads. In all, this was what we needed at a good value, but I probably wouldn’t want to stay here for a long visit."
