My children and I had a fantastic stay at Le Meridien Seoul for the weekend. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is above and beyond any staff I've encountered. My kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves, especially the 3 hours of swimming! They even mentioned how nice all of the employees were! Once back to our room we ordered room service. Our food came surprisingly quick and was hot and delicious. Ryan Kim (I made sure to remember his name from his name tag) came by with the room service. He helped me greatly by moving tables and making room for my children and I to sit comfortably. He even dropped a small dessert and made my kids day "the best day ever"~exact quote from them. Thank you so much Ryan Kim and all of the staff at the hotel. We will definitely be back soon with more family and friends!!!

Good but not quite excellent, a few things off
Overall great but the staff on checkout had no record of us paying for breakfast and tried to charge us again. When we told them that we had paid they made us wait whilst they checked, which took a while! Also, on the final day our coffee cups in our room hadn’t been cleaned properly and they had lipstick marks on them, and a few amenities were missing that hadn’t been topped up. Otherwise the hotel was comfy, rooms were spacious and the breakfast was great. Good location too.

At $50 each it’s the most expensive breakfast ever
A 5 star hotel that turns off the aircon in winter - resulting in my room reaching 27 degrees regularly and so having to open windows all night. And if you leave your window open to cook the room down while you’re out the maid always closes it to maintain the torturous temperatures. Meals in this hotel are extremely expensive and I am comparing to many other 5 star hotels around the world. Service is variable. When you can find someone they provide good service. But when you’re leaving for the airport and there is nobody in sight to check out and organise transport it’s frustrating. Positives: the breakfast (although ridiculously expensive at $50 each) is awesome. The Chinese restaurant is very good (but super expensive) The pool and gym are first class.

A gem!
Very good stay. Staff were extremely helpful and the hotel is in great condition. I love the heated toilet seat , soooo nice lol. short 1 minute walk you’ll be at the busy street with shops , food and entertainment. Mr. Logan Son at guest service was very helpful as I was having difficulty booking my ride to airport with my Korean speaking driver over the phone. I tried pork rice soup store around with awesome pork soup and king dumplings, as well as BBQ pork belly on the gangnam road. But again, I didn’t get to try all restaurants , they are all fantastic! Trip was short i didn’t get to see the pool. The gym looked well Equipped and clean to me. I’ll definitely stay there again.

I liked most of the things except 3 things. 1). The swimming pool - we stayed from 2pm until 9:45pm and I was only able to go swimming at 9:05 pm when most people with children went out of the pool. Throughout the day it was absolute chaos with people and kids splashing and playing without there being any space for those who actually want to swim. People going at all directions playing across the pool, vertically and horizontally. There needs to be some sort of a divider for at least one or two lanes from the masses of people so that people can swim. It was a disappointing experience for me. I have a back problem and was looking to relax and swim in the pool but couldn’t because of the uncontrollable chaos. This can easily be solved with a lane divider. 2. Once we checked out, we left out luggage with the concierge for a few hours. When we went to line up at the concierge, there was a customer in front of us being helped. There were other staff at the lobby near the concierge who saw us waiting for at least 8-10 minutes but no one bothered to come and ask us if we wed any help or our luggage. My friend asked one younger guy and he didn’t seem happy that we asked him. Also, after he got our luggage and we told him we would like a taxi, he did not assist us with carrying our carry-ons outside but rather had us pulling our luggage which really surprised us. He didn’t even seem to want to help to put the luggage in the taxi so the taxi driver got out, and then the worker help
