Not worth it.

We booked to be near the airport, but beware, this is a function first, hotel second establishment. We couldn’t sleep through the constant bass of the wedding happening metres from our room on the first floor. This was after paying to upgrade our room as the original one we were shown to was full of damp and smelled horrendous, had no window and no air.

Die Fotos versprechen mehr als die Realität hergibt. Zimmer nicht sauber mit vielen Flecken überall. Gestank im Bad. Immerhin war das Essen und das Früstück ok. Mehr Schein als sein. Selbst für eine Übergangsnacht für einen Flug würde ich ein anderes Hotel nehmen.

Convenient for early flights - 10mins from airport

We had a one night stay near the airport, about 8-10 mins away. The Hotel is easy to find, clean, Staff are friendly. We were there for a few hours and managed to grab a bit at the restaurant; The Seafood Club. Don't miss it while you're there. The food was amazing.

Bedroom was very spacious and comfortable also toilet and shower area very clean. Value for money. The only thing we did not like is the carpets in corridors and bedroom for the heat and humidity the smell is not pleasant. Could do with other facilities such as spar treatment. Overall we loved are stay in Grandeeza , very friendly staff, helpful and polite. Food was great, specially the fish and coffee Lab. We would certainly stay at Grandeeza again.

Bad experience, air conditioning are not working, after long journey I was wait nearly three hours get new room . Poor management, food really expensive , taste less, funny very small portions, they trying to show us like five star luxury but honestly not, I travel around the world, My worst experience.

Unusual property . Looks very grand . Lots of staff . Biggest breakfast choice ever but it seems sterile . Bedroom Carpets ( originally fawn ) look awful . Didn’t like having a large questionnaire thrust at me by a third person as I’m trying to check out and sort out taxi ..... almost creepy . No Wi-fi in huge lobby . However it’s fine as a stayover for airport but one night only .

This is a new hotel. The rooms are very spacious and bright. Everything about this hotel is first class, but the rates are reasonable. The internet is fast and the pool along the lagoon is lovely.

Ok for just 1 night but overall not impressed. Carpets in our room were filthy and overall standard of cleanliness of room not great. We had a lizard in our room. As hotel not busy a change of room could have been offered but wasn't. The breakfast was awful. I had omelette and bacon which was barely luke warm and bread not fresh. Probably wouldn't stay here again.

Nice layover before flight with good restaurant

We spent one night here before catching our very early flight back to Europe (the place is 10 Min from the International Airport). This is quite a luxury place, with a well-known wedding hall. The seafood in the restaurant as well as the view on the Negombo Lagoon is great. The staff is very nice and caring. Negative: in case there is a wedding, please expect very loud basses coming through the walls. Bring earplugs.
