Quirky with lots of character and very friendly and helpful employees. I enjoyed the courtyard, where I struck up several conversations with interesting fellow guests. Much better than impersonal chain motels.

The Iron Horse is an older motel with plenty of charm. The rooms are small but comfortable with everything you need. The courtyard is beautiful for morning coffee and it's location in Old Town can't be beat.

Very convenient location for shopping and dining. Parking leaves something to be desired, as does the extremely steep stone staircase leading upstairs. Scary!

Loved! So clean and charming. Sometimes it’s the little things that make a difference, night lights, a wealth of electrical plugs next to the bed, coffee room with lots of choices, no yucky carpet, fridge and microwave, walkable to stores and restaurants. Stayed in many hotels on my trip and this was a standout.
