I loved the staff, the unique rooms, the dining. The entire experience was steeped in history, while still being rocker chic and elegant. A hard combination to master and yet, edgewater was able to do so. Impressive.

Great place, awesome lounge and restaurant. One morning no hot water in room but not a big deal. Rooms are smaller but very cozy and comfortable. Gift shop had the best coffee i have ever tasted.

Quaint property with great atmosphere- but shower luke warm, music blasting out from outside hotel lobby at 7am in the morning which woke us up.The very merry Christmas bar which was advertised as walk-in only, first come first served, was mostly reserved as apparently it was reservable- I guess the locals knew that and it was booked up 2 months in advance - not really much point putting a flyer in the room advertising it if thats the case. Lucky we got our name on a list right at opening otherwise was a 3 hr wait , only an hour in the end for us. Would probably try somewhere else next time.
