Scotlandwell Holidays

The property was very clean and nicely decorated but our room was extremely small. We knew that going into it but was still shocked at the size of the room and bathroom. We made it work for our visit though. During check in was the only time we saw staff (which was nice!) and they were friendly and very helpful with our luggage and finding out room. The location is also excellent and perfect for walking anywhere you need. Would stay again if we booked a bigger room!

Always seen this hotel when we have been to Edinburgh and wanted to stay there. Did not disappoint.

Everything about this hotel is perfect! Great location, beautiful and comfortable rooms and stunning decor around the hotel generally.

We loved our stay as a family of four. Very nice and clean.

The room was very nice in first appearance, but as you look a little closer it was a bit tired and in need of a bit of updating/painting. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful although breakfast staff seemed a little overwhelmed sometimes, eg I asked for toast with my breakfast on the first morning but it never came even after asking twice. The second morning I again but it arrived after I had finished my breakfast even though I again asked twice. . However this is very small detail for what we experienced and will definitely use a again. 10min walk from tram stop to accommodation and everything else was within walking distance or tram if you wanted it. So am overall 8 out of 10 from me, but will be back.
