"Away from old town center but walkable.... Reception was not staffed when I arrived, I had to wait until three people who clearly enjoyed their smoke decided to come back in... You have to lock yourself in your room, physical keys so God forbid there is a fire...they locked the front entry door by 7pm... Bed clean, lamps layered with dust you could physically see rise when the light came on... Breakfast and coffee good.... Ear plugs left by side table which I thought was nice and I realized why...

"A beautiful hotel by Lake ziegelsee. The hotel had their own boat dock. The view from our room was of the lake. The was spacious and clean. Staff were very friendly, and check in was quick. My only complaint was lack of air conditioning. It was quite warm when we were there even with windows open. Breakfast buffet was good. "

"Staff are very friendly and like a chat. Ample rooms at ground level. Unfortunately, despite roller blinds, the train line that passes right outside the front of the hotel kept me up to the wee hours and then again from dawn. Doesn't help if you like to sleep with open window. I didn't, eventhough the small and stuffy room was a bit claustrophobic with the blinds down. Shower doors on rusty tracks. Breakfast is okay, the breakfast room quite nice with a lovely winter garden."
