"For the price and location near Interlaken stations, this property was good. We were there to hike the mountains not to stay indoors. The location above a several restaurants was noisy at night and near construction in the morning. Usual city inconveniences. "

"tight staircase, difficult to carry luggages up to the room, no elevator, common bathroom and toilet shared by 6 rooms, garbage can in the kitchen overflow, was not collected in the 2 days we were there. "

"What a beautiful and homey place to stay while in Interlaken. It was steps away from a grocery store and the train station but also very walkable to the river and restaurants. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful!"

"Quaint, comfy apartment right in the middle of everything. Not far from train station and shops. Next door to fine dining (1903) and great pizza joint (La Sina)"

"The property basically gets the job done, without any additional bells or whistles. There is only 1 shower to be shared between all 4 rooms (there is an additional 1/2 bathroom, so the toilet load is shared between 2 of them). The 2 rooms on the middle floor have sinks, which reduces the load on the 2 bathrooms. Some of the rooms overlook the street, which is cool, but be prepared for road noise at night, so bring earplugs. If you visit when it's hot outside, there isn't any AC, so you'll need...

"We stayed in the chic side of the lodge, which is a slightly elevated hotel room rather than a hostel. It was not luxurious but it was clean, quiet and roomy with a lovely view of the mountains. The breakfast was simple. It is not located in the village of Grindelwald but with the free bus pass, it is easy to get back and forth. It is next to the Terminal which is great for getting the train and the Top of Europe cable car. Overall, it was good for us but might not be everyone’s cup of tea."

"A surprisingly great hotel for the price. A beautiful panoramic view of the mountains. Very nice upgraded room with paragliders passing by. LoL. Great hospitality too. Service with a smile really makes a trip that much better. Definitely one of the easier hotels to find in the area. Close to everything. Wish I could stay longer. "

"My husband and I stayed here for two nights and loved it! Really helpful staff and a great location that is both very walkable and an easy bus ride to Wildeswil (which was much easier than walking to Interlaken Ost for the train). The room was clean, big, had a coffee machine. Breakfast was great and I definitely recommend you try the Hungarian restaurant two doors down (Hoppla Bistro). I would definitely stay here again."
