"We chose to stay at this hotel while visiting family. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is probably the cleanest I have ever seen among similar 4 Star hotels. The food was exceptional and there was plenty of it. On-site parking was a bonus. Would definitely recommend and we look forward to our next stay."

"We left Paderborn 20 years ago so this was a chance to revisit nostalgia and spend a few days at the Christmas markets. Art Hotel was a super choice because it had thatxreal individual gaste stube feel and everythingwas as you would expect. Definitely recommended."

"Perfectly good place for an overnight stay. 7 mins walk from station; 10-15 to city centre. I didnt have breakfast (€12.90) as i needed to be sure of getting a fairly early train. (No wake up calls avaiable now phones have disappeared from roims.) As usual on the Continent, no kettle etc in room, though i did spot one vacated room that DID have this facility - 'premium' rate?"

"New option in Paderborn is welcome. GREAT location with modern rooms and nice to have restaurant in hotel. Breakfast was solid, those that want great variety might be somewhat disappointed but all the normal “German Breakfast” elements were there. Coffee was good. Things in need of improvement… No hooks. Room, bathroom and entryway lack hooks that would be nice to have. The towel pegs in bathroom are on back wall of shower so you can’t use while showering otherwise the things you hung would get wet. Shower is the dreaded open ended one, so be sure to get two floor mats, one to stop the water from running into main part of bathroom and one dry one to stand on at sink. I hate this trend of the open shower and in my room’s case, the water that made it to back of shower area rolled right out into main floor area (poor quality from their tile contractor). Blinds in my room only went down 80% of the way and being a hotel on a busy intersection made it uncomfortable that people could look right up into my room. I had to use the bedspread and chair to make a visual block so I could have full privacy. Wardrobe is fully open and feels like a piece that would be in a (nice) hostel. I ended up leaving my socks and underwear in my suitcase as only having open, flat shelves was not fully suitable. Only one outlet on each side of bed. Had to unplug small reading lamp to plug in my phone charger. Seems poorly thought through. "

"This was my second time staying here and I was quite disappointed. Immediately when coming in we noticed how there was only one chair in front of the TV, meaning that only one of us could sit there to watch it which is a strange set up as previously I had a sofa there for 2. Moving on to the bathroom, although this was quite clean, the shower doors did not prevent any water leaking from the shower when in use. Every day we ended up with a big puddle outside the shower and then a soaking foot towel as the silicone at the bottom didn’t connect to the adjoining wall. Finally, the noise. It is completely understandable that on the weekend noise levels may be slightly louder. However, I was not under the impression that we would be able to hear all of the music way into the night in addition to even being able to hear people inside of the bar underneath us. For the price that you pay to stay here, considering it is next to the Alex bar and above another one, some sound proofing wouldn’t be a bad idea."
