"The staff don't speak or understand Catalan, the main language in the area. They charge extra 25€ fee to clean the room when you come with a pet (little or middle size. Big size dogs are not allowed), but the room, initially, was extremely dirty. The floor was full of dust and hair from other guests (nobody cleaned that room the past two months. "They cancelled our reservation less than 24 hours in advance via an email we did not see because we were driving through the countryside. Their reason was that they were remodeling. They didnt know that were going to be remodeling sooner than one day in advance?? Give me a break! "One thing - if you use Google maps it will take you up a tiny street you cannot turn around in. I dropped off my partner and then was committed to a very slow 20 minute drive through small alleyways with pedestrians to find the way out and parking. It was just a 6-minute walk downhill back to the hotel but still kind of a stressful experience. Not the hotel's fault... Hotel and rooms are awesome. Just don't drive to the front door."

A comfortable stay in Girona

"The hotel is comfortable, quiet, and very clean. It is a 10 minute walk to the old town and a 5 minute walk to the train station. The neighborhood has cafes and stores, including a supermarket a few paces from the front door. Clean towels every three days, no coffee/kettle in the room, but otherwise perfectly acceptable."

"Wonderful property that's close to old town site seeing but not loud that can happen if you're in the middle of everything. Being on top of the hill has the advantage of best place to see the city below and sunset from the beautiful roof top terrace over the mountains on the other side of the city. The location also can make it a bit difficult to walk bach to hotel as other reviews have noted. It's not that bad and if needed you can stop to catch your breath on one of the walls. It is a very short walk to the shops and restaurants down in the old town area. Everything was well cared for and clean. They have an online restaurant and bar so you don't need to head down again if you want to stay there in the evening. Area seems safe and is residential so no need to worry about being out late at night. Highly recommend this modern friendly hotel!"
