"this was our second lenghty stay at the Majoren. August 2023 was the first. As was the case last August, we again enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It's a nice boutique hotel very close to the train station and central square as well as the university. The station (trains and buses) is a 10 minute walk away. "this was our second lenghty stay at the Majoren. August 2023 was the first. As was the case last August, we again enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It's a nice boutique hotel very close to the train station and central square as well as the university. The station (trains and buses) is a 10 minute walk away. The hotel staff are so nice and helpful. I want to compliment Tilda, the rest of the front desk staff, Maria and the other breakfast/dinner staff, Silva, one of the housekeeper's and the rest of the housekeeping staff. Our room again faced the train station but we didn't hear the trains as much this time. the hotel provides breakfast and dinner. Both were very good and very fresh. Although fried foods are a large part of Swedish dinner, we always found enough on the dinner menu. Each night there is one main entree but always several different salads, soup, and delicious bread. the hotel has 2 buildings. Our preference is to stay in the main building. We've now stayed a total of 16 days and we've enjoyed both of our stays. We would stay again at Majoren without hesitation. "
