A very clean comfortable good value stay 10 mins walk from the centre of town. There is good WiFi and a laundry and small shop across the road.

Reasonable option

This is about the only option for reasonably priced and reasonably comfortable lodging in Sao Tome. The location is not ideal for walking and the rooms are bare boned. Be sure to organize breakfast plans in advance. It looks like a buffet, but it’s only for those who have reserved it. All in all it’s not a bad choice for those who don’t want to pay resort prices.

Mit Liebe zum Detail ist diese Unterkunft genau das Richtige, um direkt nach der Ladung (Shuttleservice) oder eben vor Abflug durchzuatmen und sich zu orientieren. Obwohl man ein Frühstück buchen kann, wurde auch an eine vollständig ausgestattete Gästeküche. Beim Bett (Kissen und Matratze) ist leider doch ein wenig Luft nach oben. Dennoch absolute Weiterempfehlung

I didn't meet the owners but the staff were always friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay for business and would definitely consider staying here again. It would have been very helpful if the hotel information sheet in the rooms had informtaion about when the reception was open, details about the power availability during the day (none if the public power fails) and the reception itself had this and accurate information about the hotel wifi stuck on the window for when it's closed!

Perfect place to stay when exploring São Tomé. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is tucked away down a quiet lane right in the heart of São Tomé. Only negative is that the walls are quite thin between rooms. Highly recommended.

Good location close to walking downtown very reasonably priced staff was very accommodating good value for money you should also know that Sao Tome is very safe but be careful walking around town because the town goes dark at night with little street lights and there are many holes in the sidewalks

Very helpful staff, convenient location

Bemilton was excellent in advising us on our options of what to do and where to go. The guest house is very convenient for getting into the main town. This is a great base for exploring the island. Bemilton’s English is very good and he was always cheerful and enthusiastic about Sao Tome. The self catering option is good (and well equipped)
