"We really enjoyed our time in Guadalajara and our stay at this hotel was amazing. The hotel is walking distance from restaurants, shopping mall, catedral, mercado San Juan, centro Joyero and other fun places. The hotels customer service was great from the moment we arrived. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel offers various tours at really good prices and I felt safe during my stay at all times. "

"We had mixed feelings about this place but booked anyways we were surprised at how clean the hotel is & staff was great from our arrival to our departure they carried our luggage & welcomed us, only thing is day front desk staff needs to be a little more friendly. The area wasn’t bad we felt safe at all times & we liked that it’s close to everything you want to do or see in the center of town. Definitely will be back "

"The Del Carmen is great facility with very helpful staff, beautiful comfortable rooms, and a good location. I would highly recommend the “chia” restaurant for its food, service, community vibe and its manager Morris (sp?). The only con was that the front desk does not appear to be 24 / 7 and we arrived late, due to a delayed flight. "
