Danae Villas is a beautiful property just outside the main town of Fira. In a largely residential road, it is around a 7 minute walk from the shops and restaurants (be warned of a steep hill!). The property has around 10 rooms. Mine was immaculately clean, with a comfortable bed and useful kitchenette, and opened out straight onto the pool side. The pool area is welcoming, with loungers, chairs and tables. Evi, the host, cannot do enough for you and was always at the end of the phone when I needed her. I would recommend this place to couples and solo travellers who appreciate the quiet but want access to Fira. From Fira, there are hourly buses to all other towns on the island - which is also incredibly useful!

Belle petite auberge

Belle petite auberge familiale. Propriétaire très sympa. La chambre et la chambre de bain assez petite mais propres avec une bonne literie et bon lit. Le petit déjeuner préparé par la proprio chaque matin était délicieux et généreux. Endroit un peu excentré de la ville (10 minutes à pied) mais tranquille et sécuritaire. Belle petite piscine et beau jardin. Wifi avec bonne réception. Transfert gratuit de l’aéroport et tarif spécial pour le port. Nous y retournerions.

Staff is amazing and very helpful. The place isn’t luxurious but completely clean and comfortable. My room had no views but other rooms may have. It indicates on the booking page free airport transfer but there was a reasonable fee. About a 15 min uphill walk to town, like all of the islands along a narrow road with no sidewalks. But I felt completely safe walking alone at 10pm after a sunset dinner in town. I’d stay again.

Petit hôtel de charme très mignon et très bien entretenu,nous n avons pas testé la piscine car il y avait un peu de vent,il y a même un jacuzzi 🤗literie confortable,un grand merci à la gérante de l établissement qui est d une extrême gentillesse... Cerise sur le gâteau on vient vous chercher à l aéroport, que du bonheur 💓💓💓💓

Amazing place to stay! Highly reccommended!!!

Our stay at Danae Villa was amazing! The pace is beautiful, rooms are spacious and sparingly clean, the breakfast is awesome! The villa is perfectly located a walking distance from the center, yet the area is quiet and you have your privacy far enough from the noise of the crowds. Evy and her family were extremely helpful and showed us outstanding hospitality! Highly recommended to everyone who plans a holiday in Santorini!

Hotel bien en líneas generales

Habitación limpia y grande. Cama cómoda, almohadas no tanto. El baño limpio también, y con amenities básicas. Tiene una piscina pequeña pero suficiente para darse un baño, y unas cinco hamacas. Hay tanta vegetación en la zona de la piscina que es difícil tomar el sol. La dueña es excepcionalmente amable y siempre se muestra dispuesta a ayudar a los huéspedes (p.e.: transporte o impresión de tarjetas de embarque). Un detalle. En cuanto a la situación, está a unos 10 minutos andando del centro de Fira. A tener en cuenta que es una cuesta por lo que la distancia al centro en distancia es relativa. A la segunda vez que subes andando se te quitan las ganas de subir una tercera. Además es un camino no muy bien iluminado. Recomendable ir con moto o coche alquilado. Digamos que está en una zona residencial de Fira. El precio fueron de 125€/noche en agosto. El desayuno (8€) no lo probé.

Kleinschalig hotel met zwembad en jacuzzi

Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame gastvrouw. Eva trakteerde ons zo nu en dan op wat eten en een drankje. Wij mochten zelf kiezen uit de beschikbare kamers. De kamers zijn schoon met een nette douche en een kitchenette. Het hotel ligt op 5 minuten lopen van Fira onderaan een steile heuvel.

除左去Fira 鎮巴士總站較遠（10分鐘走路）同房間不太大外，其他無得彈 有專車接送服務 有泳池同spa (要1日前預約） 寧靜同睇到星星 房間有水煲 冇蚊冇蚊 同Fira 好近，5分鐘走路 老闆娘人好好，知道我們去蜜月送咗少少紀念品俾我哋，好nice 去歐洲要帶牙刷牙膏

Liebevoll familiengeführte Unterkunft

Ende September hatten wir 6 Nächte (8 wären optimal gewesen!) in dieser schönen, ruhigen und blitzsauberen Unterkunft. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub benötigt. Und Evi kümmert sich wirklich rührend um ihre Gäste! Das Frühstück für 5€ ist sehr abwechslungsreich und reichhaltig und wird jeden Tag durch andere selbstgemachte Köstlichkeiten zusätzlich aufgewertet. Außerdem haben wir hilfreiche Tipps zu Ausflugsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants von ihr erhalten. Der kostenlose Transfer vom Flughafen zum Hotel und vom Hotel zum Fährhafen waren ebenfalls äußerst hilfreich und eine sehr freundliche Geste (ebenso wie das Abschiedsgeschenk)! Das Gepäck konnten wir am Abreisetag bis zum späten Nachmittag im Hotel deponieren. Kleiner Tipp am Rande: Vom ca. 10 Fußminuten entfernten Busbahnhof in Fira gibt es zwar recht gute Verbindungen, dennoch sollte man sich unserer Meinung nach unbedingt für ein paar Tage einen Leihwagen nehmen!

Great stay and great service!

Another 5/5 from us for Evi and Danae Villa. The pick up/drop off from the airport/port is such a relief and I have no idea why more hotels don't offer this when it's not far; it's really helpful! Evi makes you feel comfortable and is very helpful. The rooms vary quite a lot. The first one we had was quite old fashioned but Evi upgraded us. The rooms by the pool are particularly nice.

Warm host, good value

The owner of the hotel Evi was a remarkably wonderful and warm host. She arranged for our free pick-up and return to the port (even though we didn't stay with her on our last night due to the villa being fully booked). She stocked the fridge with breakfast things (juice, yogurt, croissants) even though we could order breakfast for 5€ a head. She even gave my wife a souvenir as we left :) The hotel is within 10-min walking distance to the town and main bus stop. Ask her to show you the secret shortcut. It's a little steep for a short way going out and it's a little dark coming back but totally safe. The room and the pool were spotless and everything worked well. You'll enjoy yourself there.
