The first night, when I checked in the room wasn't cleaned. I went to take a shower, then I noticed there were no trawls in the bathroom at all.

Great stay at the Park Plaza. Location in Providencia is terrific and much safer than downtown. Lots to do and very clean. Breakfast was great too.

This property is a scam. Not sure why it has soo many good reviews but it doesn't deserve it. Everything on the room is old, dirty and falling apart. The front desk staff is nice and helpfull but other than than that, the hotel is falling apart. I stayed for 4 days and only requested clening services once. And the lady didn't give us any towels or soap, I jave to go to the front desk and request it. There was mold all around the toilet, shower and sink. The floor carpet was sticky. The courtains were falling. The pipes will breat out a bad smell at nigth.....like I said , nothing like the pictures they show you on Expedia.

While the hotel is located in a great location, the housekeeping for the rooms was very poor with minimal cleaning done. As well, the overall conditions of the room was rundown, with the AC leaking into the carpet after a few hours and the smell of mold in the room. Service in the restaurant was lacking - disinterested staff and the buffet breakfast was often out of many dishes. All in all not worth the amount charged.

I stood in this hotel, 4 nights. I went in the pool to take a swim, and then I couldn't get out because they didn't have a ladder. They had to stick a step ladder inside the pool so I could get out. The staff in the breakfast area are very rude. They don't say good morning, What's your room number without a smile?They don't even want to take care of you. When you ask them a question.. No one in this hotel seems to care.They lack a lot of customer service skills. They reduce the lobby area and put a lot of table so they could rent it out for events and it gets extremely loud.

Customer Services MUST be improved!
This is a good (but old!) hotel located in a good neighborhood. But the services are far from being good. I arrived at 2 am in the morning and did my check-in but when I got to the room, there are no towels! (OK, I called reception, and they brought towels to the room). Just one! I expect that they would add an new set of next day, but no. I had the same towels during all my stay. In my last night, I asked the reception to schedule a transport to the airport, since I had to leave at 3:40am, but I heard that they don´t to do this service. I would have to call it on my own. At the end, the front desk made a phone call to a company and pass me the phone to make the arrangement. I never heard about an hotel that can not make transfer arrangement to the airport!

Nice hotel in a good location. Lots of local shops and restaurants nearby and it felt safe. Metro is close by. The hotel does feel a little dated in the rooms but it has everything you need. The shower pressure was the best I've had in a long time ! The breakfast buffet was pretty good, especially the scrambled eggs.

The hotel had a great value and location, and it was convenient to restaurants, stores and metro station. They provide free of charge parking in an adjacent building about 5-minute walk from the hotel. We found the staff very friendly and kind. The breakfast had a very large selection, but it was repeated all days of our stay. Some people may get 'bored' with same selection every day.
