Bedrooms are clean. Bathrooms clean. Hallways clean. Wi-Fi terrible, no good.
Reception great. Coffee in the morning restaurant excelent. Personal gentle, professional and nice.
Limited parking, big flying roaches outside parking area near trash cans, it can be avoided.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
It’s a cheap place to stay. You get what you pay for. 50-50 chance that you’ll have hot water to shower with.

This is an elegant old school traditional special south american style hotel with spacious common foyers and old stone pillars large fine tile good art and museum like artifacts.
Often the inside of these old hotels, from the outside you can't guess their dignity.
It is a little shoestring, but that fits the times and my point even though the nearby streets were messy, the inside is elegant.
This is not to say the sheets amd towels were high quality or the plumbing amazing
But these old hotels are like museums.
They did not take credit or debit cards only pesos but still it was very affordable and we need.plqces like this.
I wish other americans could pretend their black and experience these superior expressions of artifact and hospitality and opportunity
This was a last minute booking since my other accommodations fell through. The property itself is good. The room was spacious, comfortable bed, big closet and a fridge. The toilet seat was broken, there was some mold in the shower head. But overall the room was clean.
Remember. I travel for business and base my review on what was promised by the hotel. They advertise 10am check in. I notified the hotel of my1-2pm arrival upon reserving. Upon arrival there was trouble finding my reservation and I was made to wait almost an hour to”make the room ready”. I need wi-fi todo business. It was advertised for free everywhere. In truth, only in the lobby was there wi-fi. Not an iota in the room. The a/c was awesome, but the cool rainy weather precluded its use. I’m a huge fan of hot water, there was only cold. Nowhere was HW advertised. Very cold. The on site restaurant only had one entre and some ofthe wait staff was surly and really did not care. One young man,Jerry, helped me get food the first night after I found they had only one item on the menu. He was the only one to speak English that my old deaf ears could understand. There was no sound proofing. In fact the entry was by tunnel. The motos seemed to delight in reving their engines when ever they travelled through. There was no daily housekeeping. I was forced to empty the sewer basket next to the commode. A bag was not provided so there was also no sanitation. I try to only judge based on the hotels descriptions. Friendly and attentive can overcome many of those shortcomings. Here, that was not the case. The pools(2) looked nice, but with the other issues, I did not try
