Supertramp Hostel Machupicchu

2.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (47)
"We liked our stay. The bed was great. Cozy and comfortable. Loved the decor and we appreciated the nice hot shower after a long day out. The breakfast was nice (I would only recommend to offer some milk to go with the coffee). The staff was attentive and friendly. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we are ever visiting in the area again. Thanks so much!"

"Very comfy and cute set up, rooms, and courtyard! Great location in terms of accessibility to food, drinks, shops, restaurants, cafes, public transport! Quite noisy until about 11pm at night, though - not in the property itself, but coming from celebrations in the main Plaza of Ollantaytambo. Good Shower - one of best I had in Peru!!"

Salkantay Hostel Chaullay

2.0 star property
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (3)
"Truly recommend to stay at Chaullay Salkantay Hostel during your Salkantay trek. The place has exceeded our expectations (especially after other lodges during the trek). The rooms are a great standard and provide real comfort, they are clean with towels and soaps. We had a room with a private bathroom which was clean, convenient and with an amazing shower (all you wish for during the trek!). The beds are very comfortable and it’s a proper building, sheltering you from the cold and wind, letting...

Killa Sumak - Hostel

2.0 star property

"I regret to say that I cannot provide a positive rating for this property due to a highly disappointing experience. I made my reservation on July 5th, 2024, with plans to stay on October 8th. However, upon arrival, I was informed that the hotel was fully booked and they had no record of my reservation, despite the fact that I have confirmation from Expedia. While the staff did assist me by finding alternate accommodations, it was at a higher price, in a lower-quality hotel. This was not...

"The staff was very friendly. The hotel isn't in good shape due to construction. It took half an hour to check us in because our room wasn't ready. Our toilet didn't flush, which I learned the hard way, and it was embarrassing to have 3 people come to the room to fix it. I stayed in the room for an hour while people came in and out, which wasted the small amount of time I was in Aquas Clients. The towels smelled like smoke, and there was a dirty towel in the bathroom when we arrived. There was...

Sumaq Wasi Hostel

2.0 star property
6.4 out of 10, (17)
"There were better options, so I’m not sure why we chose this place. Nobody spoke English, which was more our fault then theirs, but still made things slightly incovienent. We booked three nights, and we needed to cancel two of those nights, but they wouldn’t work with us & we couldn’t communicate, so we were forced into paying for all three nights. The photos make this place look better than it actually is. Not worth $36 per night. There are much better places to stay for cheaper."

"Joan picked us up from the training station and showed us to our room. The room was huge, 3 king beds the shower and jacuzzi facility was good, cant beat the price for the size. Not all of the functions of the shower worked like the side shower but the main one worked. The jacuzzi also worked well. We did not experience the bugs and insect like the other patrons in the reviews, although the room did not have air conditioning during the evening with the windows open it was good, we only spent...
