"This was a wonderful first stop on our vacation as is it was midway betweeen San Jose and La Fortuna. We stayed in the family villa for 2 nights and found it to be spacious with beautifully landscaped grounds. The local waterfalls were easily accessible and we could walk to local restaurants. "We had a nice time. Key takeaways: this location would be best in the dry season. No heating or cooling and no screens on windows. Fireplace is extremely smoky, you will smell like you were camping. The wood is also very damp and hard to light and keep going. Very friendly staff. Grounds are beautiful when the sun is out. No real hot water, we had to heat water on the stove since the hot water was only a few degrees warmer than the cold. Bed was very comfortable and had a fluffy blanket on it...
