"Listen, I am not a hater. I never leave negative reviews. It’s just that this place SUCKS. The furniture was awful when it was new, in the 70’s. The mattress sits on pallets. If Hotels.com has ANY minimum standard of quality for properties, this should certainly be below them. But hey, there’s air conditioning, and if your only goal is to stumble in (preferably drunk) and sleep, for as cheap as possible, you’ll happily get what you paid for. "

"Nothing fancy but it was as expected. Nice to cook our own food and take a break from dining out. Softer lightning would be good addition. Glad we stayed there."

"Liked cleanliness of apartment- everything worked fine. Excellent location for walking into Plaza Major and Old City. Food options very close too. Were able to find street parking although this required some searching around the area. Some details in the listing need updating , regarding what the property offers. "

"I cannot say enough good rhiings about this property. The owners Herman and Carla are the kindest most accommodating people I’ve ever met. We arrived late and they were waiting up for us. They helped with the luggage very clear instructions and details about the property. It is clear in every way that that take personal pride in all aspects and the tiniest details. "This is a very nice appartement hotel, located at the heart of Plaza Mayor. A must for Game of Thrones and House of Dragons fans. The Red Keep filming locations can be easily found by walking around the city. The different restaurants will offer great tapas, local beer and grilled meats. Prices can fit all budget. "Great location for access to downtown. The street is old-school residential style, within reasonable walking distance to the main attractions and many kinds of eateries. There is noise on the street, but that comes with the territory. The management was extremely nice and responsive, which made me feel even more at ease. If there is one not-so-nice thing I could say is that I should have paid better attention at the description of my room, but it was more my fault than theirs. At the end it didn't have a private bathroom like I thought I'd have, but a shared one instead - and it smelled like it had no ventilation whatsoever. I'd stay there again, just getting a better room."

"Excellent location, service and accommodations. The breakfast was nice. This was my second time staying at this property, and I enjoy their service and the continuity of staff. The hotel is an old Castle that has been modernized for the use of a hotel, and it is simply wonderful, which adds to the experience. They have onsite parking, and have an overflow lot at the top of the hill. Make sure and follow the parking directions given by the hotel, to use the right address, or be very observant and follow the signs, because blindly following GPS could have you on the very narrow streets at the top of the hill, which is not for the faint of heart. I had no complaints and highly recommend this hotel. Be well!"
