"This was our first time staying at a Barcelo, and first time in Huatulco. We upgraded our room to Premium Level as we wanted a view of the ocean. The room was very spacious, with lots of storage space! The bed was very comfortable! The bathroom was a good size. There is coffee in the room and a small fridge that was stocked with beverages and snacks. There is a small safe in the room (too small for laptop or iPad). Our room also had robes and slippers. The pool temperatures were lovely, as was the ocean! The beach is quiet, sandy, beautiful. We ate at the Mexican restaurant once and the Italian twice - both were fabulous. We were lucky enough to have Victor as our server at both - he was great! Omar at the main buffet was also wonderful. We were also very impressed with the quality and freshness of the food at the buffets; there were lots of options (and vegetarian options) - absolutely no complaints regarding the food. Every night there was a show at their theatre and often some live music in the lobby bar area before the nightly show. I would definitely recommend and stay here again. "
