I especially appreciated the fact that you don't have to pay extra for lounge chairs by the beach, which you do at some resorts. It does take 10-15 minutes by taxi to reach the hotel from the ferry, which is pretty typical for Mykonos. Also, I wouldn't necessarily recommend springing for the private pools–they're not...

"Every staff member is polite and welcoming. It’s a delight to stay here and the hotel is clean and comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional and the restaurant very reasonable - portions are generous and food is tasty and made with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere in the hotel is positive and the pool is a real asset with the beds around which are comfortable - and there are great views of the sea. I am so happy we chose this hotel! "We booked this Villa for a few days with the family. The proximity of the villa is fantastic! It’s only 4km away from the city in an area that without a lot of people and the views are breathtaking. The street to reach the resort is a typical Cyclades one that one could argue that needs improvement on the one hand, but one the other keeps the resort away from many people as a secret gem. The villas are very well maintained and the staff really helpful and nice. On the positive side we were also impressed by the strong Wi-Fi connection. Breakfast was nice and the rooms were clean. It was very relaxing sitting in the veranda and watching the passing boats at night. "
