A quick drive from downtown and Plaza shopping but at a fraction of the cost! Clean and updated accommodations and a well-stocked breakfast too. Down the main thoroughfare from Meow Wolf!

We have stayed at this hotel 4 times in the last month heading to Colorado from Az. to visit family. We were booked for our fifth time but we got caught in a snow storm and had to stay in Trinidad. We called Expedia and told them our situation, they were very sorry and said they would call the hotel and see if they would switch it to the next night.. The night manager said no, we would just loose the room. So we ended up paying for a room we didn’t stay in. I called and talked with him and explained the situation, he said he couldn’t do anything about it. We have had this happen before, with a different hotel last year because of weather.. Expedia called them and they were happy to switch nights. This time it was a Monday night not even a weekend.. We won’t be staying there again!! They obviously don’t want repeat customers.

The room was very roomy and modern. However, the beds were somewhat comfortable. The pillows were softer than the bed oddly enough. The main issue was the tub. Once my son took a shower, the drain backed up and nasty looking water with debris came up from the drain. After he got out of the shower hurriedly, the water level rose to over halfway. It was very disgusting and tainted our view of the hotel. I doubt we’ll return after that occurred.
