We have stayed at this hotel 4 times in the last month heading to Colorado from Az. to visit family. We were booked for our fifth time but we got caught in a snow storm and had to stay in Trinidad. We called Expedia and told them our situation, they were very sorry and said they would call the hotel and see if they would switch it to the next night.. The night manager said no, we would just loose the room. So we ended up paying for a room we didn’t stay in. I called and talked with him and explained the situation, he said he couldn’t do anything about it. We have had this happen before, with a different hotel last year because of weather.. Expedia called them and they were happy to switch nights. This time it was a Monday night not even a weekend.. We won’t be staying there again!! They obviously don’t want repeat customers.

Clean rooms but a little small for the price. Bathroom was a nice size with plenty of counter space, but lighting is poor for applying makeup. Two of the room lights did not work. Bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the option of hard or soft pillows.
