"We absolutely loved our stay at the Pali House in SB. The location is terrific. Just the right location of being able to walk to State St & all the surrounding stores & restaurants as well as not feeling too hectic and crowded in the center. We used their bikes which the hotel provides for free and I would highly recommend taking advantage of that amenity. The property is peaceful and charming. "Place was clean and nice. I would strongly recommend individual fans that clip onto the bed rails for each of the beds for health purposes for guests. Rooms can get quite stuffy with multiple people in them and there's no real circulation unless window is open but it was closed unless we opened it. individual fans for each bed would be fair and affordable resolution to make it more comfortable for those wanting to have them. I would definitely return would just bring my own fan. otherwise it was...

"Overall property was as advertised. Very clean. Cute public/play areas. Walls a bit thin. (They give you ear plugs) No comp water bottles in room, but there’s a Water fountain in the lobby, though the Lobby/front desk was locked up at 11am with no explanation. Left keys with the housekeeper. Downtown/State street is the next street over/very walkable. "

"The location is excellent and the second floor patio has a great view. This old hotel has some beautiful details like tile floors and nice tile work in the bathroom. However, it’s clear they are relying on the location to sell the place and not bothering much with upkeep and service. Check-in was frustrating.
