"A lovely week in November. Property was quiet and the staff we engaged with were friendly and polite. You need a car really for this one. Only disappointment was no oven in the kitchen as we do self cater but we did manage ok with the hob & microwave. "

"Lovely hotel in central Palma near to bus & train station. Easy walk to cathedral, shopping & restaurants. Room retains the old charm & features of original building with modern bathroom & amenities. Excellent wifi, comfortable bed & great shower/ bathroom. Front desk staff were super friendly, especially Matheus, who couldn’t do enough to help! Fantastic stay, many thanks!"

"Good facilities, lovely staff, right next to the beach, cycling facilities, family friendly. Not a lot around it and a bit out of town, was glad to have a car, but it is on a main bus route."

The property itself is diverse and offers multiple pools along with other activities such as ping pong, etc. The one (and very large) downside is the parking situation which is why I could not give a 5 star rating. "We loved our stay at Vell Marí and would definitely go back again. It’s an easy drive from the airport. We didn’t bother paying extra for dedicated parking and we never had trouble getting parked on the streets outside the hotel. It’s right opposite Lidl which is handy if you don’t want to take toiletries in your suitcase. "The hotel is in a superb location which made it easy to walk around during the day, get to masses of restaurants and easy access to public transport, an airport bus stop is just over 5 minutes walk away. Great views from the roof terrace. Staff were very helpful. The room was huge and also very clean. Couldn't fault the place."

"Front desk was very welcoming, informative, friendly. Rooms, bathroom, balcony were very clean! Happy with that. Had the ocean view and beaches are a very short walk from the hotel!! Was a quiet neighbourhood for good sleep. Need a car otherwise have to take the bus to old town which takes around 40 min and uncomfortably packed with tourists. Use google maps as there are multiple bus stops to get to old town. On checkout day, I took the bus which stops right in front of the hotel with my luggage...
