"I’m sure on a good day with out rain this place is fabulous. But the day we arrive it was raining all day. Therefore we had to sit in the bar with a fire burning away. The staff are lovely and welcoming, the dinner we had was not too bad actually. Would love to come back with nicer weather to truly appreciate the place."

"We stayed in backpacker accommodation (6 adults) which is rustic, but adequate, we had a very reasonably priced meal and a night filled with stars in a beautiful location. There is more upmarket accommodation in rondavels, which is very nice although still rustic. It was a great night away with no South African cell signal, so total peace. They said free wifi, but I didn't check"

"Everything was great about bushman’s. Staff were friendly and kind and the cabins were beautiful and modern. Only thing we had a bit of trouble with was a trainee at the desk who kept being left by himself and he clearly hadn’t yet been trained in some of the basic info so made it a bit difficult to get clear answers but he was lovely and tried very hard to help. Otherwise, no complaints "

It’s the little things that make it!!!

"You know the difference of a nice hotel to a great one is the little things.We were there for one night and leaving early the next morning and the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating from packing us a packed breakfast to assisting us with info.The rooms are unique with the finishes and the ambiance created.we loved the wood.makes the place feel a bit closer to nature.The hotel and the room was very clean and comfortable.The tea station was well stocked with fresh milk in the fridge.in the bathroom the toiletries supplied were in large containers and not these dinky ones you usually find.The gardens were well kept.my only complaint is that I only got to spend the one night there.will defiantly put it on the list of places to revisit."

"We stayed there for just one night to attend a function in Underberg,so was just needing a bed.Therefore did not use the facility.However did notice the grounds of the hotel were well kept and the pool looked clean and safe.Staff were very friendly and helpful.We arrived early and they were able to check us in and rooms were ready.the rooms and hotel are clean and comfortable.Unfortunately no hot water in the morning but that could have been because another room had drained the geyser just before we had a bath.Underberg and Himeville’s accommodation prices are pretty high so I think the price for Himeville arms was very reasonably priced.The property had secure parking and there was a security guard who was incredibly helpful."
