"We arrived and were asked to wait so that the guy on the desk could spray the room with air freshener. On entering the room the place looked shabby and on close inspection of the pillows we quickly decided not to use them as some were stained yellow. The a/c turned on but did nothing to cool down the room and the fan on the wall only oscillated about twice before sticking. There was a bracket on the wall where the tv once was and the electric wires sticking out of the wall where the shower once...

"First let me say I'm a Platinum Status Expedia member. Next, LITERALLY DO NOT STAY HERE!!!. The "security" stole my luggage and the "manager" basically did a home invasion. These people are straight up criminals who will threaten you, assault you, and rob you."

The owners refunded the difference to us, and we liked the hotel so much that we stayed three days longer. The staff is extremely helpful and kind. "i had an amazing short stay at the j7 in siem reap. i wanted a nice place to stay and relax at in between my travels in cambodia and this property was def a 5 star in my opinion. i used most of the property: buffet in the morning was delicious. i had an amazing massage downstairs with aunty for 1 hour - very good price. my room had a tub and i def took a bath. i will always choose to stay at the j7 again when i'm back next year and will bring my parents"

"Saem Siem Reap is a wonderful place to stay! I spent 2 nights and 3 days in Siem Reap. The location is excellent. Close enough to the attractions, shopping and dining and far away enough to not hear the noise at night. Tuk Tuk transportation is readily available and the friendly staff at the front desk will help you with any questions you may have. Angkor Wat is approximately a 16 minute Tuk Tuk ride away and a 6 minute Tuk Tuk ride to downtown Pub Street. I wish I were staying longer! Thank you Cambodia and Saem Siem Reap Hotel for an incredible visit!! "

"Exceptional service, far beyond any other hotel that I’ve experienced in this price range. Each staff member was incredibly friendly and went out of his or her way to optimize our experience. When they learned that we had a late flight, the staff took it upon themselves to look for late checkout options for our group. Details such as complimentary tuktuk service and massages made for a lovely stay. "
