"Excellent studio apartment, 1 block off the main pedestrian shopping street, and close to many sights. lots of restaurants shopping nearby, including supermarkets and wine stores. Speak with the agency several days at least before your arrival date to secure a parking space a few doors down the street. "I absolutely loved my stay at Porto Bay. It’s right in the center of everything. All of the major monuments are within easy walking distance. The staff was excellent, courteous, and professional. Amazing stay…. No questions asked!

"This has to be one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. From the moment we arrived; the staff were extremely friendly and courteous; as soon as the door opens they are greeting you (every day) it was a nice gesture. They cannot do enough for you. The room was spotless, and the cleaners were back and fore all day, checking the water in the room and if we needed more. The lounge area for the bar was peaceful and staff were attentive and helpful when choosing a drink. The spa area and gym we used once and this was so relaxing. The pool was lovely temperature and was heated inside and out, the gym was small but had a few bits to use. We didn’t make use of treatments but they seemed good. On to the breakfast, WOW! The choices were out of this world, fresh fruit juices, fruit, yogurt bowls plentiful pastries and cakes, hot food, but also freshly made eggs benedict, avo on toast or omelettes, and these were a complete treat. I would highly recommend this hotel, the welcome from staff; the food, the cleanliness and the overall quality of service and comfort. We will definitely stay here again without a doubt. Thanks to all the staff "
