"My wife and I stayed here to celebrate our 25th anniversary. The staff including the owner were fantastic. So nice and pleasant. The property is definitely a three star but I can confidently say they are working in it as we speak. The owners bought the property about one year ago and are continuing to upgrade it. "My husband and I only stayed for one night while visiting Lake Como in late October. This is low season so some businesses are already closed for the season. The property is about a 20 minute walk from the ferry stop, and it’s all uphill. However, once you get there they do give you a short cut, but it’s still quite a walk and mostly stairs. "This is a good hotel. Spacious room for three with a good shower and aircon. The parking is very handy and a reasonable swimming pool. Breakfast was also good. The staff were welcoming and happy to help - we were late for breakfast but they did not rush us. "

"Breathtaking views out of the surrounding windows as you had breakfast every morning. Wonderful cocktails made by the bar with comfortable seating areas to enjoy some relaxation time. All of the staff were very helpful in getting dinner reservations and answering questions. The car service to take you and pick you up was also amazing. "

Honeymoon on Lake Como

"We loved it here! The communication was top notch, they handled our dinner bookings and had the most beautiful view from their Infiniti pool! Rooms were clean and gorgeous and a short drive from Bellagio! The chef was sick unfortunately however breakfast each morning was far more than we have grown to expect in our travels! Highly recommend for a romantic getaway! "

"Outstanding property . Lovely small boutique inn. A bit unusual to get to, but worth the effort . Wonderful owners, amazing history and Ariana was above first class as a hostess . Made our trip . Room was beautiful (LaVista) and great walking path in front of hotel allowed us to run each mornings. Nice relaxing retreat from the hustle and bustle of nearby Bellagio. Loved it! "
