"This was by far the nicest place we stayed at in Italy. The apartment is clean, beautifully simplistic and functional, bed was comfortable, kitchen well equipped and communicating with the staff was easy and enjoyable. Location is excellent: short walk to the coliseum, historic centre, Juliet's house etc. Restaurants are a short walk away, as is shopping. We had a car and were given free parking on the property. Apartment also had a washing machine, which we appreciated. I would highly recommend...

"The area of town seemed a little sketchy. The apartment building is definitely older. Our apartment was clean but had a really strong floral scent which was horrible for someone with scent sensitivities. The bed was saggy and tge pillows were really flat. Hotel reception (at Hotel Mastino) were very helpful in terms of guiding us to our destinations. Only issue is that the property is quite a distance from the main train station, so it might be difficult to navigate on foot with luggage."
