"This is my second time staying here, but I'm sad to say that the rooms I got this time were a little dated and smelled like mold (both of them). I booked two rooms, and the other room had a working aircon, but unable to turn off or adjust settings. I even bought new batteries for the remote. SMCO representative was nice and helpful, but I felt weird leaving the room keys in a locker with NO LOCK. what if someone stole the keys and cleared out the room? Will I be responsible for that?...

So that part was confusing but luckily I sorted it out. I booked last minute so I was a bit worried about finding it in a timely manner but both Expedia and the host were able to connect quickly. "The property is spotless and the caretakers are very nice and accomodating. The owner of the property is prompt in responding to emails. "

"Unit was tidy, and well maintained. Any problems were solved quickly. Location is good but like most of the philippines traffic noise is high! Suggested improvements would be a real mattress on the bed instead of foam. Otherwise no problems here at all!"

"Location of the unit is good but we Ask for 3 people to stay but gave only 2 BABY/ TODDLER blankets and 2 towels as there is additional charge for the 3rd towel. The unit smells gross, musty or roach smell needs to be clean thoroughly."

"The photos says it all. The place is great for the price, nice view on other angle of taal lake. It also felt like home away from home.😍 Ann was very accomodating and kind. Her place is very neat and linens are clean and smells good too. And if you’re planning to cook your own food, better buy ahead all your needs before going there unless you bring your own car. "Rooms are clean and spacious. You can really sleep comfortably with their clean linens. You can bring in and cook food . Lacking kitchen appliances though like kettle, microwave , oven toaster. Cooking stove we had has 1 burner working, the other is useless :( That was time consuming working on a single burner. Door knobs are defective, aircon units are outmodeled (you can hear it working at nighttime) and the other acu in 1 room leaks. Bulb in 1 CR was busted. As for toiletries, shampoos and...

Stress free weekend

"We took a chance and checked in early as we were going to a wedding nearby. Even if they had been fully booked the night before, they promised to try and have a room ready for us in an hour. We went to their restaurant and hadn’t even finished lunch before our room keys came. 😊 The room was nice - spacious and comfortable. We appreciated the snack and drinks that came with it. Everyone was very helpful from our entry to our exit. Being able to check out from your room was a nice touch. We originally chose Anya just because it was near the wedding venue we were going to, but we would likely go back again another time as we found the resort relaxing and spacious, and the whole experience enjoyable and stress free. "

"Great view of the Taal. Good food and shopping very close. Casino and amusement park 15 minutes walk. The hotel was very nice and the staff was great. Tagatay is a very noisy city, so be prepared for that. We would stay there again. Robinson supermarket and a small mall with good food right next door. "
