Nice hotel, very friendly staff. Restaurant food was ok, but not great - and limited menu offered daily didn’t change very often. All this said, I would definitely stay again and would recommend for a few nights on business

Such a lovely hotel with beautiful high-quality decor and furnishings. The staff were friendly and helpful, the dinner and breakfast were both excellent and the environment peaceful for a good night's sleep. Will definitely come back again.

Beautiful location, helpful staff

The hotel is in a beautiful setting, however the exterior is a little tired. It has a very large car park and is close to the main entrance. The lobby is beautiful and the staff are friendly. I ate in the restaurant one night, the food was very tastey and the service was excellent, however it was quite expensive for a small portion. If it would have been a larger portion or cheaper it would have been perfect. There was a wide selection of breakfast items available every day.

Peaceful

I was surprised when I arrived, driving through a small tree lined driveway to the hotel. The staff on reception were very friendly nothing was too much trouble for them. I was really pleased with my room, it was cosy and felt authentically Italian and very clean. The bed was comfortable and had good quality linen. The breakfast was self service and so much choice, it was very enjoyable, staff were very quick to replace items and clear tables, very efficient. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Nice simple hotel if you need to spend a night on the way somewhere, which is what we did. There is not really much around there. The personnel was nice, except at the breakfast. The rooms are a bit dated but it was clean. The breakfast could have been better but we didn't leave hungry. So all together a nice place.

the room was filthy, bathroom full of mold which made it unsanitary. Hotel is run down and not maintained properly. Frankly speaking the worst room my wife and I had experienced in over 30 years of travel... Have pictures taken in the bathroom which I intend to send to the management of the hotel.

Do not rely on the restauarant being open

This hotel is of very good quality for the price. The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast was first class and the restaurant food and wine was high quality and of a reasonable price. The hotel generally was a pleasant place to be and the staff were courteous. Unfortunately these positives were negated by what we would describe as a total lack of consideration for our comfort and well being on new years eve. Having eaten in the restaurant the first two nights of our three night stay, we were left agast at discovering the restaurant closed new years eve. No attempt had been made to make us aware of this. Because every other local food outlet was either closed or fully booked, we did not get to eat that evening Had we been made aware of the withdrawal of this service that was advertised as available when we booked, we would as reasonable people have made alternative plans by probably eating lunchtime. This was not how we expected to celebrate the end of 2022
