"The Armas Hotel is centrally located. The rooms have been recently renovated. We stayed in a very simple room but it was quite nice. The staff was friendly and super professional. They kept in contact with me via email to confirm checkin and if anything was needed from them. I would stay there again!"

"The staff here are amazing and the property is beautiful. The only thing is we didn’t get turn down service the entire time and the AC unit blows right on the beds. It made it a struggle to sleep at night. They should rearrange the rooms a little to conform with the AC units. I would probably stay here again but I would get a car"

"This property was beautiful and convenient. We felt safe since the community is gated. It was within walking distance of the beach and restaurants, and Uber rides to El Viejo San Juan, Condado Beach, and La Placita were all under $10. Our only minor issue, which wasn’t a big deal, was some ceiling paint falling in one of the bedrooms and the bathroom, likely due to humidity or normal wear and tear. "Oh my goodness - this place was amazing!! We had a huge suite on the second floor just for two people. (be aware there is no elevator, so you carry your luggage up some stairs). Expect some street noise until about midnight - then it gets quiet. It didn’t bother us at all. There was a full kitchen, a dining area with table, couch, TV. Big bedroom had two soft comfy beds. Nice size bathroom had a big tile shower. They provided soap, shampoo, conditioner. You could also use their complimentary beach towels and sunscreen that was available in the lobby. They have coffee, hot chocolate, cold water, and ice available in the cute lobby area. We got to the property in the morning, so they stored our luggage in a locked room until check-in. There are shops and restaurants everywhere you look in Old San Juan. The location is convenient to both forts, the cruise port, umbrella street, and easy to get an Uber to the airport when needed. Katie, at the front desk, was SO nice! Everyone was friendly. What a delight to stay there! We will be returning. "
