Such a wonderful place!

This family-owned hotel was such a lovely experience. The family is so gracious, the rooms are large and sparking clean, and itā€™s located in a nice area with a view over the golf course from the terrace where they serve breakfast. Itā€™s also just a ten minute drive to the airport.

If you are looking for a clean, quiet small hotel with super friendly service and homemade breakfast with a big smile this is it! No pool or workout room, but if that wasnā€™t on your list I couldnā€™t recommend this hotel more! There are also nice restaurants in walking distance in a beautiful neighborhood.

The property was very clean and in a safe neighborhood it seems. There's a plaza close by where you can eat and go to the supermarket. Also it's next to the Cariari golf course. The staff was helpful and nice.

Very clean property. We stayed in a deluxe suite with a jacuzzi and it was very spacious. The property offers a breakfast for $10 and it was worth the money. The breakfast cook lady was very accommodating and made omlettes, eggs and pancakes made to order. The location is about 15 mins from the airport. Would love to stay here again.

Loved my room as it exceeded my expectations. There was a full kitchenette that I was not expecting and a separate sitting area. The whole suite was very tastefully decorated, and I felt at home right away. The service by staff was exceptional. I loved my chat with Cecilia who is the Owner and so warm, caring and pleasant. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting San Jose and look forward to staying here again on my next trip.

This is the second night we stay and we're in a different room, it is very clean as the previous one and has all the same amenities. They were expecting us so the check in process was very fast. As this is our second stay, the neighborhood seems safe, and the hotel is very quiet. Also there's a mall nearby (2 min drive) where you can go to some restaurants (Taj mahalo was very good) and a supermarket. It's very close to the airport also (around 10-15 minute drive)

We have stayed at Terrazas several times when travelling to Costa Rica; It is convenient to the airport,but also a very comfortable and friendly small hotel. We feel very much at home; it is a family run business and we feel treated as family also It has an open feel, with a central garden and fountain, a beautifuly back garden and faces a golf course in the back. It is immaculately clean, and the staff are very helpful. It sits in a very nice residential neighbourhood; it is pleasant to walk in this area; there a restaurants and stores just a short distance away

Very clean. Comfortable setting. Relatively quiet given its proximity to the main highway. Friendly and expedient staff. Within walking distance to fine dining and fast food. There is a limited shopping district nearby. Very good value for your money. Do not expect a pool.

Birthday trip

My wife and I travel often and this is the first time we stayed in a Boutique Hotel. Terrazos de Golf exceeded our expectations. The host staff, Cecilia, Irene and Roberto went above and beyond their functions and catered to our needs and wants which arenā€™t many because they were already anticipated. They made us feel special and cared for. Cecilia even made a cake for my wifeā€™s belated birthday celebration. The neat place afforded us a quiet and relaxing ambiance next to a golf course. The garden adjacent to the dining area and the water fountain garden next to dining tables provide a soothing effect while dining and wining. I will definitely remember our experience and stay here again with my family next trip to Costa Rica. Muchissimas gracias
