"We enjoyed every minute at Sweet Songs. The all inclusive option was the way to go. Delicious local food--each of our meals were excellent and we ate all but one of them there over our eight night stay. Definitely intend to be a return guest. The staff was so welcoming and helpful, they totally spoiled us! "

"Me and my girlfriend stayed there and really enjoyed ourselves. Going into our stay, I wasn’t expecting a lot because of how affordable the cabana was. When I saw the property and the restaurant and the cabana is itself overlooking San Ignacio with a hammock in it,I was extremely impressed and considered staying another night. "My husband and I had an amazing experience. It far exceeded our expectations. A beautiful little resort in the rainforest. All of the staff were so nice. All welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. We will definitely be staying here again. I cannot say enough nice things. They really took care of us and made our stay magical."

"We had the best stay there! The pool is awesome and the staff were very friendly. The grounds are a little overgrown… and this place looks like Covid hit it pretty hard, but it has SO much potential and we had such a great time that I hope more people stay there! Our room/cabana had a king and 2 doubles- Perfect for our family of 5! "

"What an incredible experience we had at Hidden Valley wilderness Lodge. From the moment we got there until the day that we had to leave, our Vacation was made amazing by the wonderful staff. "Excellent stay here. The seclusion in the forest is a major plus. Best mixed drinks I had during my whole stay in Belize, including on Ambergris Caye. Food was excellent and home cooked. When looking back on this trip, I'll remember our great time here. Was very relaxing and felt authentic. Pool was smaller but nice. Staff is small, and very courteous and attentive. "Table Rock lodge was a fantastic place - beautiful grounds, clean and cozy rooms, amazingly friendly and helpful staff, and tasty food that was clearly fresh and all natural. It was easy to get tours and activities booked through the lodge and to learn more about the area from the staff. We especially loved the ecofriendly setup (bird and animal feeders, rock-tile shower, and on-site farm with fresh everything). Keep up the great work!"

"The checking process was the most pleasant due to customer service agent was rude. However, the other front desk agent Christopher was ver friendly and very helpful. I paid about $700US for two bedrooms suite a night. I personally don’t think this hotel is worth the price. The carpet in the hotel is worn out and needs cleaning. "I don't typically write reviews but I have to hand it to the staff at the Blancaneaux Lodge. Flawless service, kind, friendly and helpful at all times, in every area of the resort. The place is truly magical, and their incredible staff are the secret sauce. The property is top notch, but warm and authentic, not ostentatious or showy. My family felt immediately at home. "The experience our family had at Black Rock Lodge exceeded anything I could have wished for. From the moment Fernando picked us up at the airport, we knew we were in for a good time. The nearly 2 1/2 hour drive went fast as he thought of everything. He had water and snacks ready for us when we got into the vehicle. "We have nothing but good things to say about Gaia. This place was incredible! My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary there and the staff did everything possible to make sure it went great. Every single person there went above and beyond. Incredibly genuine. I can't recommend this place enough! Special shout out to Freddie (I hope I spelled his name right). Super attentive. Made sure we had an awesome dinner every night."

"My husband and I visited as the first part of our Anniversary trip. We were greeted by Eric at the airport immediately after our arrival and had a great ride to the resort. Eric was also our guide for tour of Caracol Ruins, Cave & Pools, he also took us on the most spectacular cave tubing experience and set up with zip lining. We admired so much his knowledge of the land and the animals! The resort itself is breathtaking and so relaxing. The whole Tut family are so kind and accommodating. Food is top notch authentic Belizean Cuisine and the sound of the surrounding forest is amazing. Highly, highly recommend! "

"Pros: Budget Friendly. Central to everything! Their partnerships with Tukan Shuttles and Adventures plus the Midas Hotel (Pool) made creating a memorable experience almost effortless. Staff are friendly, kind, and truly take the time to know you. I feel like I have made genuine connections. I felt safe the entire time I was there. The front desk always has someone there 24/7 to assist you - they even lock the main entrance gate after a certain hour for extra safety (don't worry, there is always someone there to let you in of you decide to stay out and enjoy the night life). The facilities were excellent and having laundry services and a smart TV truly made it feel like home away from home. Cons: It can be loud. As the hotel is on the main street, you often can hear people laughing at the bars accross the street or in the park behind. Walls are not terribly thick so you may even hear your neighbor a time or two. The TV remote was unreliable which was a shame as the TV itself has no way of operating it without the remote (staff did happily help me every time I had an issue though!). Some of the beds are incredibly comfortable while others are solid/ hard. I was fortunate to have 2 beds in my room to choose though which made this less of an issue and more of something to note. (The beds might not be perfect but the staff again will do whatever they can to ensure you have a comfortable stay). Overall, I would highly recommended The Venus Hotel.10/10 would stay again! "
