The room wasn't what I expected when I first arrived. It was excellent, with spacious rooms and the kitchen. The bathroom and the closet were also excellent. The location was extremely important for us and it was really worth the price.

Perfect location along the Riverwalk.Close to everything we wanted to do. The smell of Voodoo doughnuts fills the air and made me hungry every morning.

The staff and location was the best, the building was old, but clean and nice. You had to sign in or sign up for various apps in order to watch TV, i.e. Netflix or Freevee or Pluto. It would have been nice to have double pane windows as the outside noise was a little loud throughout the night.

We were able to walk to Ruverwalk, The Alamo, Market Square and numerous other attractions and restaurants! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable! We will definitely stay here next time we are in town!

It was a nice stay, the rooms were very clean and the lady at the front desk was very sweet. The only thing we didn’t like about our stay, was that the valet took forever to bring us our vehicle after we requested it on the app.

Hotel was unique and in very good location, walking distance to RiverWalk and Alamo and still good parking option when traveling with car. Rooms were clean and very functional, very good wifi connection. Only clear drawback was noise coming from the street. I think windows were single pane and it was very difficult to get to sleep without earbuds.

This was a nice, comfortable and clean space with perfect accessibility to the Riverwalk. Easy walking to many places. The beds were very comfortable. Front desk staff was always friendly and helpful. It was secure. The main issue with this rental is the location faced a very noisy corner. The front bedroom was very loud, as was the living area due to nighttime cars and motorcycles revving engines. For some reason that corner seemed to be the place to cruise at night. The unit is not very soundproof at all in that way.

No parking close to hotel. Had to pay for parking to checking in. It also took me 30 minutes to open the door to the hotel. They are locked with no way to reach those inside. I had to call several times before anyone picked up the phone. After checking in, I was required to park my car myself a couple of block away because they did not have valet 🙄. After returning to the hotel, i walked into a room with another couple in it!!!! I recognized them as the couple who checked in after me…The front desk assigned both of us to the same room!!!!!

The staff of The Maverick were exceptional. The rooms/apartments were very comfortable and clean. This hotel is so close to the river. Would definitely stay here again.
