It was a good stay-easy access and room.was comfortable especially the beds and shower. Loved the proximity to Mirabell and place to recharge the Fortress. Nice reception service in the morning!

It is very convenient to the train station and to several of the sights. It was easy to walk where we wanted to go. Although the hotel doesn't have dining, there are several excellent restaurants in the area.

Our room was roomy and just fine. Location was very good. Be aware that there is no elevator. Our room on the 3rd floor was a bit of a jog--70 steps--but good exercise.

Four night stay.

Four night stay at Urban Stay. Very close to train station and supermarket. Lots of restaurants nearby. Room is spacious. Bed is big and comfortable. Only thing is shower drain is extremely slow. Had to stop the shower to let water drain otherwise it will overflow the base pan. Within walking distance to everywhere.

Came for Xmas market & city experience. Can’t fault hotel except for the road noise - & I’m being really picky here! Impressed that could get in room earlier than check in time. Key collection process was painfree. Only staff we met was at checkout & very pleasant.

Code for key to door was emailed. No problem getting in. Large, quaint room. We did not reserve parking in advance… not sure how to do that… so parked on street from 7:00 free till 9:00 am. Walking distance to old town with Christmas market stalls on the way.

unfortunately was the window of our room towards the main street, which was very loud, even during the night. beside this, we liked the accommodation and would like to go again, if there is the chance to get a room, where the outside noise is not that terrible like this one.

This was an extremely basic hotel, bed, shower & shelf desk. However, I would recommend it. The staff are excellent. The cleaning staff make a lot of effort. Kettle & iron available at reception. Incredibly well located <10 minutes from train station & Mirabell Park. No air but fan in room. For a hotel on a limited budget this is excellent

Hit-or-miss on room condition (2 stays)

We would give our first one-night stay (room #14) a 4 star for above-average accomodations at the price -- loved it. So we returned a few nights later for a one-night (room 15, next door). Totally different experience -- barely a 2-star for condition, size, comfort etc (felt like a cheap hotel room in an old hotel). So our average rating is 3-star, but it's hit-or-miss, you could get 2 or 4. Location is great though, very accessible to Salzburg attractions by walking, Mirabel Palace/Gardens very close. Near ethnic restaurants with great food selections.
