Only downside and this is the same with all European hotels, only English speaking channels on the TV are the news. Hotel is very convenient for the train station and is only a short walk in to the old town. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if i return to Salzburg "

"Great location! Lots of shopping and restaurants neaby. The hotel bar has great drinks and atmosphere. If your too lazy to leave, they also have great quick bites. The rooms are very clean and offer excellent amenities. The biggest 5 star rating about this hotel is the staff. They are fantastic. Very helpful and really nice to talk to. We changed our reservation to leave Vienna quicker than anticipated and are so thankful we did. To be honest, I thought I was going to go home disliking Austria because of the attitudes we faced in Vienna. Super grumpy unpleasant people no matter how friendly you are to them. We get along with anyone but my patience was tested in Vienna. Salzburg and the staff here turned it all around and we will happily come back to Salzburg. You will not go wrong with the NH hotels. The only downside, that may not be a downside for some, the beds are really hard in all NH hotels. We dont like them but the rest of the hotel is why we come back. Perhaps a pillow top menu would be a great option to provide? "
