But I wonder if this is also bc there is no true need for it given that the city is so safe. My checkout was smooth though. I left my key on the desk and no further communication was needed. "

"Our stay at Rovinj’s Delfin Hotel was excellent and we recommend it. The hotel is located just outside the main tourist area for Rovinj, and parking was included, which was excellent. Breakfast, which was delicious, was also included. There were many other amenities (boat rides and such) right across the street.
