"A bit in the middle of nowhere, this hotel was a pleasant surprise. We arrived after a long drive and found a very good outdoor swimming pool to relax in. They also have a very decent restaurant which is important because we didn't see anywhere else to eat nearly."

"Nous recommandons fortement ce séjour. Les hôtes sont particulièrement agréables, accueillants et bienveillants. Le site a beaucoup de charme, est très bien entretenu et au calme. Les chambres sont charmantes et très propres (pas de climatisation mais la température sous les toits était correcte). Les alentours sont riches de villages remarquables et chemins de promenade. Le petit déjeuner au bord de la piscine était absolument incroyable. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir."

"We'd definitely recommend The Squirrel's Nest. A lovely house and owners. Our room was great, spacious en suite bathroom, air conditioning which with temperatures of 40 degrees outside (canicule), was really appreciated, tea and coffee making facilities on the landing. An easy walk into Gaillac for dinner (bring a torch) and not far from routes to Albi and Toulouse. "Great place to stay and dine. We came late and were still able to get a delicious meal in their restaurant with a glass of wine we were all happy we arrived and felt welcomed. In the morning there were breakfast choices (self-serve) which was great! Nice area to sit outside as well. Room was good too. "

"We actually left because it was so awful. Fortunately the guy on reception was very understanding. It was totally unsuitable for anyone over 25 as it was so rowdy and the lodge was really bad. Sorry to say this but true."

An amazing hotel in the heart of Toulouse

"This hotel is a gem centrally and conveniently situated a short stroll away from the heart of Toulouse and the beautiful Victor Hugo Market with all the best restaurants. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The room was very good. And the parking provided was very helpful. We had the most amazing reception from two extremely helpful and friendly receptionists. Can not praise them enough."

Nice and quiet

"Great location. Clean, quiet, nice. We had a 2 room suite, our only recommendation is to put a mirror somewhere outside the restroom since it is to be used by many persons. The entry hall is big and empty, a mirror and shelf would be useful. Also, the restroom has a very very strong lighting, all turned on at once, and one is directly in the mirror, for some persons that is very uncomfortable to the eyes. Separated illumination is necessary to have different light options. "
