Independent, Saint-Martin-la-Rivière hotels

"Big, clean hotel with a small indoor pool. Staff were friendly but spoke limited English. Good selection for breakfast, but limited places to get a meal locally, and nothing available if you arrive late to check-in! 15 mins walk from Futuroscope (which is very much aimed at the French market). "

"A total mistake on my part making a booking at this hotel. It's inadequate in every way possible, no proper en suite, awful towels, etc. etc. I do not understand how a family could cope in these so called family rooms. Unfortunately I did not realise it is trying to be a theme type experience, rather than being a 'proper" hotel. We arrived at 5 pm and there was no parking available. The reception, corridor flooring etc. is as scruffy as you can get. I hope this helps to dissuade you from booking...

"The hotel was right in the town centre and we easily found free parking nearby. The room was small but compact and the shower was awesome ! My only criticism would be the noise from the floor above, both nights someone got up to use the bathroom which woke me up !!! But everything else was fine 😊"

"The room was warm unfortunately there was no hot water. Being January the restaurant was closed so even for a warm drink and food we had to go out in below freezing temperatures. The bed was very clean. No food or drink allowed in the rooms. "
