"Great location. Friendly staff. No aircon, so not ideal during warm summers! We were also given an accessible family room, which was less than ideal. Toilet is very basic. No shower enclosure, just a flimsy curtain that separates the toilet seat from the shower area."

"This was our second visit to this hotel. Previously we came in a summer ,but this visit was on the last day of Bordeaux Xmas market. The hotel is situated on the tram line which you can buy tickets at the machine or on the app. To get into centre takes about ten mins. Across from hotel is the river which you can walk into Bordeaux with lots of restaurants and shops. A lot shut in the winter, but definitely worth a nice walk. "Easy to find and within walking distance of the Bordeaux Saint John main railway station. Friendly reception staff and very well maintained room with everything required except for dishwashing liquid and tea towels. Very clean. A number of small shops for supplies nearby. Would happily stay there again "

"Second time staying here. Did arrive in time to use the pool this time but still a good stay. Room had all we needed, was comfortable and clean. Perfect for an overnight stay whilst travelling back to the UK from Spain with a dog. Nice walk with the dog around the two small lakes and spotted two otters! Really handy to have a well- stocked supermarket in the car park! Will stay here again"

"Our second visit to Apparteo Bordeaux and equally enjoyable! The room on the top floor was spacious, clean, well equipped and comfortable with a great terrace for outdoor dining - very relaxing and appreciated as it was 30C+. A lot of renovation of the surrounding area makes for a very pleasant stay with loads of waterside restaurants, the lovely Halles de Bacalan and, of course the Cite du Vin. Can recommend taking the No. 4 bus from directly across the road to the Château de Pape Clemente...

"We had a very pleasant stay at Les Grands Vignobles. Laurie was welcoming and friendly. The house was clean and tidy with all facilities you could want and we enjoyed the outside space with the view onto the vineyard. "

"We walked to the hotel from the train station. We went out the main doors of the train station. We could have made it much easier on ourselves if we went to the lower level and crossed under the tracks. Otherwise, the hotel was great. Not too expensive, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed."

"The hotel and the staff were amazing. The area was very walkable with a lot of dining options. The river is pretty spectacular too. You are in walking distance to the train, buses and the light rail system so it is easy to travel anywhere. "

" Quirky decoration throughout, confortable and clean. Staff were welcoming. Located in the city centre, so easy access by foot. There's no access by car due to barriers on the streets, so we had to use a local car park. At night, the area around the hotel didn't feel particularly welcoming due to homelessness, but this was a problem all around the city."
