"Disastrous hotel! Upon arrival, we had a lengthy discussion because we were asked to pay for the accommodation again, even though we had already paid via Expedia. But worse was water damage during the night, which came from a lifting system—so smelly sewage water in the room. We fled the room with two children (climbing over the bed). The hotel did nothing! No refund or compensation for damaged luggage! Once and NEVER again!"

"We are a family of 4 who stayed one night at the beautiful Hôtel château Schengen on our way back to Norway. The staff working there where very service minded. According to my son, this was the best hotel of the whole trip!He also liked the playful dogs that lived in the castle. We can recommend this place very much, and will be happy to return later. "

"It was absolutely an amazing experience. The beautiful country house surrounded by nature. Austin (the dog), chickens and the cats were very friendly and very smart :) The owners are very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was delicious. We had a perfect stay. "The price was good and the location and free parking convenient. The lady at reception during check in seemed a little unpatient."

"Great place for a relaxing weekend. The staff is absolutely wonderful, professional and kind. We enjoyed our time at the outdoor pool, indoor pool/spa. Rooms were nice, spacious and beds comfortable. Delicious food at the Auberge and the K. Will definitely stay at Domaine de la Klauss again!"
